In 2010, Robert profiled an emerging startup called Badgeville, very much in private beta. With the phenomenal rise of social gaming, largely on Facebook, they presented a solution to one of the biggest problems surrounding blogging particualrly – the steep decline of commenting and participation (those pesky and shallow RT’s) and how to use game theory to encourage interaction amongst users.

To celebrate the fact that they have just bagged $12m for future development, they have just created an infographic outlining their phenomenal success to date. Not being a fan of infographics, I have considered carefully whether or not to post, but these guys are the future, I even mentioned them back in January (which makes it really nice to see them do so well).
