Give your social media efforts the credit they deserve

For too long, social media, for all its purported importance by both the echo chamber and the press, has never really had an opportunity to showcase excellence – everyone loves a good FAIL story, but there are very few opportunities for businesses in the UK to showcase their efforts good or small.

That’s why I am especially delighted to be counted as a judge in the upcoming somecomms awards, created by the wonderful Andy and Nicky at Don’t Panic Events. It is an event with some 14 categories which should enable any UK firm of any size with a good social media story to tell, to be rewarded for its efforts:

Entries is FREE but closes on the 20th September and the Awards Ceremony takes place at The Hilton, Manchester on the 9th December this year.
